Affective Infrastructures – Workshop

What does the term “affective infrastructures” mean and why might this composite term be relevant today? Can thoughts, emotions, objects, and stories themselves constitute infrastructures, binding us to each other and to the world itself? What are the implications of human affect being captured and processed by contemporary technologies? In this workshop, Study Circle participants invite you to engage in conversations about a set of objects and experiences that constitute affective infrastructures.
